• Business information and documents when you register as a merchant
• Payment information for wallet top-ups and transactions
• Messages you send through our support channels
• Profile photos and business images you upload

Information collected automatically:

• Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers)
• Mobile Advertising IDs (such as IDFA or AAID) for analytics and personalized offers
• Push Notification Tokens (e.g., Firebase FCM) to deliver real-time app alerts
• Log data (IP address, pages visited, time spent, referring URLs)
• Location data (with your permission, for finding nearby merchants)
• Usage data (features used, merchant pages visited, offers viewed)
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and provide our services

• Verify merchant identities and business legitimacy

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With merchants: When you visit a merchant using EcoFamilies, your member ID and deal eligibility status are shared with that merchant to process your visit.
• Service providers: We work with trusted third-party providers for cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, and communications. They process data on our behalf under strict data protection agreements.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by applicable law, court order, or government authority.
• Business transfers: If EcoFamilies merges with or is acquired by another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

• TLS encryption for all data in transit
• AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest
• Regular security audits and penetration testing
• Access controls limiting employee access to personal data
• Two-factor authentication for merchant and admin accounts

Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Data Retention: We retain your personal information only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Once you request account deletion, your profile data is permanently purged within 7 business days. We may retain certain anonymized financial transaction logs for longer periods strictly to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
