2. Role Overview

The Regional Business Manager will assume direct oversight of fiscal infrastructure, compliance governance, commercial strategy, and brand monetization pipelines across the UAE, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. This executive remote position bridges corporate financial management with cross-border operational scaling, ensuring local divisions thrive commercially.

1. Everyday Operations & Team Support

• Coordinate Local Teams: Support and guide your local Country Representatives and Content Creators to keep daily platform activities running smoothly.
• Keep Tasks on Track: Manage the weekly workflow to ensure content schedules, community events, and local updates are delivered on time.
• Bridge Communication: Act as the daily point of contact between your local country team and the core UK team to keep everyone aligned.

2. Local Community & Traffic Growth

• Grow User Engagement: Watch local platform metrics and suggest simple ways to increase user sign-ups and forum interactions on the EcoFamilies website.
• Localize Content Ideas: Help the creative team adapt global eco-friendly ideas so they make sense and feel relevant to families in your specific country.
• Gather Feedback: Listen to local user complaints or suggestions and pass them along to tech support to improve the website experience.

3. Basic Business & Partnership Outreach

• Connect with Local Brands: Identify and reach out to local eco-friendly shops, organic brands, or green businesses to explore directory listings and small collaborations.
• Support Local Income: Assist in rolling out basic local revenue streams, like community marketplace features or local business promotions.
• Track Local Trends: Keep an eye on what other local parenting groups or green initiatives are doing in your market.

4. Administrative & Budget Routine

• Manage Local Expenses: Track everyday operational costs for your country team (like local internet allowances or small content budgets) and keep them within the monthly limit.
• Submit Regular Updates: Write straightforward weekly or monthly progress reports outlining user growth numbers and team tasks for the UK managers.
• Basic Compliance Checking: Ensure local marketing activities and community guidelines respect standard local internet and data safety rules.

Requirements

4. Person Specification

• Qualifications: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Finance degree, or equivalent executive management certifications.
• Proven History: 4-6+ years of demonstrated success managing digital platform scaling, remote B2B commercial pipelines, or multi-country operations.
• Analytical Toolkit: Exceptional analytical data skills, fluent financial modeling capabilities, and deep operational metrics mastery.
• Communication: Flawless written and spoken professional English, with strong regional linguistic competency considered a distinct asset.
